Flourish is a research collaboration built by Golden Psychology and Jae Sevelius, PhD (they/them), Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. It is being funded, in part, by Healing Hearts Changing Minds.

Flourish aims to increase access to safe, effective, and culturally responsive psychedelic-assisted therapy, preparation, and integration services for transgender and gender-expansive communities.

Flourish Research Collaborative supports research initiatives such as KAP+Pride and KAP+DBT+Pride. These studies seek to develop a model of group Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy for Transgender and Gender Expansive folx to co-heal in community and study the impact of Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy when provided in community by community members.

These studies aim to reduce the effects of chronic traumatic gender invalidation, to reduce the mental health burden of living in a non-gender affirming society, and to promote gender joy.
